“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.” -Carl Rogers
Why I Do This Work
I’m drawn to this work because life can be brutal, especially when you feel like you have to tackle it alone. I am a recovering perfectionist- a person who spent years shouldering through on my own, who thought asking for help was a sign of failure. Until I did. I realized asking for help is out greatest strength. We humans rely on social connection to live. It’s the origin of safety, belonging, and healing. I am so proud to offer a space of connection to those I work with.
I work with people moving through big life transitions: becoming a parent, renegotiating a partnership, and raising small humans while trying to stay attuned to themselves. I also love working with teens navigating the intensity of growing up, and with creatives who feel stuck or disconnected from the work that matters to them.
My Approach
I’m warm, direct, and engaged. I’ll be in the conversation with you — asking thoughtful questions, noticing patterns, and helping you build practical tools that work in real life.
My approach is collaborative, curious, and affirming of all identities, family structures, and ways of being. You don’t need to perform who you are here. LGBTQ+ folks, neurodivergent people, and anyone who’s felt outside the mold are especially welcome.
I do this by utilizing a psychodynamic approach, while drawing from Internal Family Systems, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. Therapy is personal; we’ll work together to find what works best for you.
A Little More About Me
I’m a mom of two (plus one very cute dog), an avid board gamer, a voracious reader, and a novice star-gazer.
I’m decidedly human, and am always learning. And I could probably stand to drink more water and less coffee…but I won’t.
